Book Your Corporate Retreat in the Marlborough Sounds Today!

Corporate retreats are a great way to thank your staff for their efforts on a certain project or just for a great year and booking one in the Marlborough Sounds is sure to please. If you are new to New Zealand you might be wondering where the Marlborough Sounds are and why they are so special. If you are from New Zealand you may not have even considered this region for your event, but there are so many reasons why you should.

Situated at the top of New Zealand's south island, the Marlborough Sounds comprise of many islands, sounds and peninsulas all providing stunning scenery. Not only that but the Marlborough Sounds region is well known for its locally produced wines. Of course the amazing Queen Charlotte Track can't be forgotten; an amazing 71km public walking track offering a variety of landscapes, native bush and wildlife along with historical landmarks to visit along your way.

Whether you want to take part in the more sedated and relaxed activities such as boat cruises to see the Havelock Green Lipped Mussel Farms or just the many bays and inlets, wine tastings, dining in fine cuisine restaurants serving local seafood dishes, or the more adventurous activities such as saltwater fishing, trekking, mountain biking and kayaking on your corporate retreat, the Marlborough Sounds has it all! The scenery alone is enough to make a team picnic on the coastline enjoyable.

Deciding on your retreat objectives, the venue and travel can all be stressful tasks, but finding a retreat in the Marlborough Sounds with an an events co-ordinator can help to take some of this stress away. The co-ordinator will assist with mapping out an itinerary for your group, which may even consist of some off-site team building type activities or experiences.

Another thing to consider when planning your event is that the venue and area can cater to all ages and physical fitness levels. For instance, walking the whole Queen Charlotte Track might not be the best for everyone, but perhaps a shorter walk through Skiddow Reserve will be more suitable. If you are planning to stay a night or two, make sure that the accommodation facilities at the retreat venue can cater to the amount of people in your group too.

If you are looking for somewhere spectacular in New Zealand for your next corporate retreat, consider the Marlborough Sounds and experience this quiet, scenic area with so much to see and do. Chances are you won't be disappointed and neither will your staff!

The Luxury of a Caribbean Cruise

People work harder these days than ever before. If not physically harder then longer hours and we deserve a break from that once in a while. Most of us go on holiday and we look forward to it months in advance and we plan for it even further ahead. Where do you like to go or what do you like to do? I personally prefer to go on a cruise and a Caribbean cruise is a good choice.

People believe a cruise, specially a Caribbean cruise as being expensive, and cruise operators want to maintain that elite image, but I see the cruise as being an up-market all inclusive holiday. Probably, it is the original all inclusive holiday, because once you walk up and off that gang plank, everything except drinks is free. Everything and everything is first class hotel style too! We are not talking pizza and chips here, but five or six course meals and five or six times a day.

It is common knowledge, that if you go on a cruise you can expect to put on a pound or two a week (I put on five pounds on my last cruise), unless you do some exercise. What exercise? Cruise liners have swimming pools and gymnasiums! Not only one but several. Some even set aside a deck for running at certain times of the day. There really is no justification for not exercising on a Caribbean cruise.

Cruise liners offer more sports facilities than just gymnastics too. In fact, except for horse riding, I think that most sports are catered for. Basketball, volleyball, swimming, clay pigeon shooting, fishing, bird watching... You name it. Caribbean cruise liners also have Internet connections, games machines and full office amenities. During the evenings there are first class shows, often two a night, movies in a cinema and a casino.

If you have never been on a Caribbean cruise, it is difficult to explain the amount of luxury that is on offer. It is more than a first class hotel. In a first class hotel, you pay first class prices for everything too, but on a Caribbean cruise liner, everything but drinks is free and even drinks are cheap because they are duty-free. The cruise liner will have a store too where everything it sells is duty free!

Some Caribbean cruises are themed and it is worth noting this fact. Also some times of the year, especially early February are predictable. I once naively went on a Caribbean cruise for a fortnight which spanned St Valentine's day. I was a single man then and the other 1200 were romantic couples. There was only one single woman on the cruise but there was no rapport between us. I did not not enjoy that Caribbean cruise, because people took we under their wing, but it made me think about the time of year when I next booked up.

Caribbean cruises, particularly the better ones, will fill up quickly, so this is one holiday that you really have to book well in advance. A year in advance is not too early. I like to book my Caribbean cruise a year in advance, but put my name down for any last minute cancellations, in case I can pick up a bargain.

The best part about going for a cruise is that it is affordable for most families. Now you can have a fabulous time with your family, and don't need to worry if your kids get bored when on holiday.

Several cruise lines offer reasonably priced family cruise trips or kids cruises where you can enjoy many exciting family-oriented activities. There are special kids' cruises that have amenities and activities especially suited for children of all ages. What is best is that most of these activities are supervised by trained individuals, and that is great news for concerned parents.

What is even better is the fact that since you will be traveling as a family, these kids' cruises will offer you a discounted fare for the kids. What your kids will love most about these kids cruises is the option of visiting any destination of their choice. You can take a tour to any destination that you choose and get a taste of a new culture. Children are curious by nature and love to experience new sights and scenes. These kids' cruises bring excellent opportunities for kids to experience new places and cultures.

A cruise vacation is the best that you can give your kids as all the on-board activities are well planned and organized. Compared to regular vacations where you have to constantly think of ways to keep the kids happy, kids' cruises offer plenty of fun and excitement on board. Kids and teens can take part in activities both on the ship and on shore. Face painting, karaoke, beach parties, and a variety of contests are sure to keep the kids thoroughly delighted. For those parents who are apprehensive of taking their kids on a cruise holiday, you will be surprised at how fast kids adapt to the fun ambiance on board these kids cruises.

Most cruise lines also provide a swimming pool on board for kids to enjoy water sports. Teens can have fun watching films or playing video games. There's a lot to do in these kids' cruises and by the time it gets over, your kids are sure going to miss it.

More family oriented facilities that you will find in the many kids cruises include arcades, family cabins, playrooms, discos, teen centers, and minimally charged babysitting amenities. If you are planning for a romantic dinner date with your spouse on one of these kids cruises, you can very well go ahead with professional babysitting services.

Family cruises are available in interesting themes; the popular options include Norwegian, Holland, Celebrity, Princess, Disney, Royal Caribbean, and Carnival. All of these kids cruises promise loads of fun and excitement for kids on board a luxurious ship. It will truly be a memorable holiday for you and your kids.

Not only are these kids cruises designed just for the pleasure of your kids, you and your spouse can also indulge in many activities exclusively designed for you.

Enjoy the exotic beauties of different locations as your ship sails across azure blue waters, and let your children have the time of their lives.

Luxury Cruise Deals Must Give As Much As You Can Get

Luxury need not always cost the most. If you want top luxury then you are going to have to pay more but there are special deals available. This is especially so if you are thinking about going on a cruise. A cruise that falls in the luxury category is a dream vacation. You are pampered and have access to every luxury you need to make your trip unforgettable. Even so, this level of luxury is not one price. You can look around for luxury cruise deals that will give you the value for your money.

The first issue you have to consider is where you want to cruise. A popular choice for luxury cruise deals is the Caribbean. This is a beautiful part of the world and your ship will make stops at the most exciting Caribbean ports. You are usually given the choice of a short or long cruise. A short cruise is about 7 days and a long cruise is fourteen days. This is ample time to have a really good rest and to see a substantial part of the Caribbean. There are cruises that take in the whole Caribbean and this will give the opportunity to experience cultures as diverse as Mexican, French and Spanish.

Luxury cruise deals are those that provide you with privacy when you want it, socializing when you want it, the highest level of personal service, spa treatments, fine wine and dining and many extra offers. If you are going to spend a certain amount of money to go on a cruise for the sake of luxury you must ensure you get as much as you can. Very often a luxury cruise is the trip of a lifetime and you want it to be perfect and as affordable as you can get it.

Tips to Plan a Memorable But Inexpensive Vacation

Summer blues are hard to beat, but sometimes you just need to get out there and live a little. Discounted vacations help to make this possible for those with limited budgets. A regular run of luxury travel deal vacations can run up to several thousand dollars. With a car payment, mortgage or rent, everyday needs and utilities, saving up those thousands is nearly impossible. There's plenty of time to go on the vacation-it's just having the ability to do so!

The term discount vacation may seem a bit...mediocre. What are you going to get out of the vacation? After all, it's discounted. It can't possibly be as good as Average Bob's vacation that cost $4000. Look at how hard he worked to save up. The poor guy was exhausted and needed a vacation more than ever at the end of it!

Misconceptions about Discounted Vacations:

1.) It's cheap, so it won't be very good.

2.) A good discount vacation will have many options as to where you can travel to. Just because it's discounted doesn't mean you and your family have to settle. You just have to find the right discount.

3.) We won't get into a good hotel. This misconception is plausible, but any reputable travel agency will be allied with reputable hotels. This is one case where you don't have to give up quality over quantity.

4.) We'll be on some tiny little flight that will blow an engine. This is much like the hotel misconception. If they want your business, the discount vacation agency will make your business worth your while. This is not saying you'll be in first class being fed shrimp and drinking mimosas, but you should be comfortable enough to enjoy the flight.

Discount vacations are easier to come by than you might think. One of the easiest is to get a travel membership. With travel memberships, you not only run into more discount vacation opportunities, but also run into other discounts and special trips not offered to non-members. With these memberships, you not only get one awesome discount, but potentially several more.

Tips on Choosing Rhine River Cruises

When you are choosing Rhine river cruises there are many things you need to consider and look for. These things include the cost, destinations, accommodations, and more. Rhine river cruises are absolutely amazing if you choose the right vacation package for you and your family. Researching carefully will help you find the ship and crew that will give you an amazing holiday.

When you are looking for a Rhine river cruise it is important to look and compare the costs of the different ships. Most ships are essentially the same thing but you should compare each of them and find out the difference. The different things you will see with the ships are the destinations and the accommodations. Choose the ship you like based on the entertainment, the room you will be staying in, and if there is one you really want to stay on. Most people don't care about the ship because they are essentially the same.

The accommodations and everything included in the vacation is very important when you take Rhine river cruises. The best cruise packages will offer excursions and sightseeing tours included in the price of the cruise. As a matter of fact, you can find a cruise through Germany's amazing river with a free guided tour at every stop along the way. This is the only way to travel. A tour guide will ensure you don't get lost in the foreign cities, act as a translator for you, and provide guidance and historical information you might never learn. Never choose a cruise that makes you pay for your own excursions separately.

Food is important and it can be expensive if you have to pay for every meal on a vacation. The point of a cruise is for the meals and lodging to be included in the trip. Some cruises do not provide three meals a day to the passengers. Not only should the cruise you choose give you three free meals every day of the vacation but there should be buffets throughout the day and plenty of snacks for the passengers. The last thing you want is to be presented with a large bill at the end of the cruise because you had to pay for all of your drinks and meals.

Germany is a wonderful place to travel to and the Rhine river houses many cities along the banks. Taking a cruise ship along this river is a fabulous way to experience the country and everything it has to offer. When choosing Rhine river cruises it is important to make your choice with what is best for your budget, comfort, and fun. All cruises should include free excursions at every port, food and accommodations, and more. Never choose a cruise line that makes you pay additional for these things. If you compare a Danube vs Rhine river cruise, be sure to look at the different boats, what they have to offer, and make your decision wisely. Planning your vacation carefully will ensure you have a wonderful trip.
